What an amazing idea. This product is larger and of a better quality than it looked on the picture.The postage was really quick and very well packaged. It's lovely to look at in the evening when it sits glowing on my window ledge. I feel like I've capture a little bit of the sun during the day, so I can use it at night. Without getting too gushing, it seems a bit magical. A great idea.

I bought 2 of these for my Mum for her birthday. She has had them outdoors for a couple of months now and she absolutely loves them. As soon as it starts to get dark they start shining just like there are little jars of sun in the garden. I think 2 in the garden look great and I will definitely be buying her more to dot around the place.

The Blue Solar Jar I purchased has worked excellently. It is best to turn the switch on the unit off when it is charging, in order to conserve the stored energy and ensure it lights up brightly once you do turn it on. I purchased the Blue and the Yellow Sun Jars and I do think that the blue light is brighter, although these are NOT for reading by, they are simply accent lighting fetures which have the advantage of being free to operate! It sits on my conservatory windowsill and charges very effectively. I was quite cautious when buying these as the reviews are very mixed, but I have been pleased with both Sun Jars.
