This is actually a really nice win up lantern and is of a non-slip type material, so easy to wind. Doesn't take long to fully charge. Although can't tell much difference between the different light settings.

Very Practical. I bought two but a design fault in the on/off switch makes it uncertain whether they are on or off as individual presses don't always 'connect' making them occasionally problematic.

Spot on.
Can be charged via a 6v charger as well if you wish.

The idea is great. The reality...okay.
The lamp lasts a very long time, but the light, due to beings LEDs is a blueish tint, which can leave you able to see but feels like the room is dark and moody, not really a light for working in. It does its stuff and for the price, no complaints here.
Good construction, mine has fallen down a few times in the wind, it is robust and still dent free.
Could do with a better hook design for attaching to walls, trees, hooks etc. Otherwise and excellent and very useful purchase.

Bought this item soon after we had a powercut in our area which lasted a few hours. It gives sufficient light indoors, and is handy to carry around safely in case the house plunges in darkness. However, when I took it in the garden it became apparent that it does not give good light even at its brightest position.
